With all the bad flooding in the area a local conservation area was under water from the elevated Mississippi. I came there to see what it looked like at ran in to this guy. He had a rubber raft and I asked him if he was fishing and he said no, he was just floating around b/c he enjoyed it. He felt bad b/c he spooked a bunch of birds but I like this better anyways.
The story adds a "make lemonade from lemons" touch to this - if nature gives you too much water, go out and enjoy it. I like the processing and contrasts in this.
