This is one of the tiny hermit crabs that has been living in my dad's marine fish tank for quite some time now. I can only get a closeup shot like this when the crab comes right up the glass, which does not happen very often. Shortly before I took this picture the hermit crab had fallen off a rock and landed in this position, but with its head and legs tucked inside its shell. Luckily crabs are not camera shy and it let me take a few shots of it before turning over and dragging itself back into the shadows.
