Well, this is not really a beverage which requires recipe, but a seasoned chef could pass it on like a exotic drink :) Simple still water with clean chunks of ice.
This is last minute submission!

Thank you all for your comments and my first blue!
Here are the details on setup -
Some might be disappointed to know that there are some "fakes" in the photo. Firstly the ice is not real. Its plastic and taken from the packing of my wife's perfume :) That explains why the "ice" is so clear. Secondly, the background is also "fake". It's the screen saver on my laptop screen. The lighting is primarily from the screen itself.
I picked up my P&S for this shot as I was not able to do decent job with 100mm 2.8. I still need to practice on this lens :)
On processing side, its nothing special. Heavy cropping, played with levels and hue/sat. Heavy sharpening. Added border and neat image. The good thing about glass shots is that it gets much better after neat-image without risk of losing much details.
Here is the original -
Honestly, I don't personally like the picture very much and find it creatively non-rewarding. I have done similar setup before and have scored high, so I did this again for the sake of score only. This image surely won't stay on my machine for long but will surely stay on DPC as a reminder of blue for myself :) Thanks again!

Visually i think it looks like animation. You creativeness in achieving the resulting image is quite wonderful.
It is sometimes tough for me to simplify things and just use what is around me, rather than thinking what i need to capture is out in the world. For that the ribon is well deserved.
it's a nice photo, but a disappointing commentary on this site when you say "...I don't personally like the picture very much and find it creatively non-rewarding." i find that many of the photos on here fill that niche, and the photos that are creatively compelling are often not those that score well. (that's not to say i don't like 90% of the ribboning photos; i'm just saying in general, most people need to shoot differently for ribbon purposes than they would for purely aesthetic goals. sad.)
excellent photo, though. i find it not only technically sound, but visually pleasing. you sell yourself short, i think.
You might not think this is a very creative photo, but I think it's actually quite inspiring. I racked my brain trying to come up with an elaborate idea for this shoot, and in the end shot nothing, whereas you went with something and returned a beautiful photo. That takes a lot of creativity. Well done on the ribbon.
First look is amazing, however scrolling down to see the whole image disappoints viewer with the cropped bottom. The drink's shadow went nowhere due to the crop. However lighting is superb and i give an extra point for that as well as to the overall concept.
Great tones, colors nice and smooth. I predict at least a top 10 for this. I do see some visible JPEG compression artifacts, however. With a file size of 115k, you still had a little headroom for a lower compression factor.
Amazing shot... very sharp and neat... i love the way you have set your background up to give the desert feel... hope this does well in this challenge...
Well what can I say for this shot. Very beautiful, very eye catching, very smooth and crisp. I love it. The background flow, color choices, just about everything in this shot is simple and beautiful. Good luck! High score from me.
