Champagne + White Chocolate Liquer = Lava Lamp.
(Really Equals a drink Experiment gone bad.)
I really didn't spend the time to "Get the Light Right". So The end result is not what I intended.
I actually 1st made this drink as a New Year's 2008 experiment at home on 1/1/2008. I tried to imitate a comercially produced wine/champagne "infused"with chocolate.

The harsh light and strong shadows hurt this image. I also think a lower perspective would have been more interesting. I'm really curious as to what's in that drink though...
Wait...people don't really drink that, right? :-) I think you've done a very interesting job lighting this. It does a nice job accentuating the curves on the white bottle.
This image just does not work for me. I can't make out the background or it's relationship to the subject. Although I appreciate the effort with the side light, ultimately it seems to give the drink an odd perspective in relation to the white bottle, and it's a bit harsh with the reflection. 5 for the effort :)
