Wow, I can't imagine what it must be like to see that type of picture with my own eyes. I would be scared to death I think. This picture really gives the feel of the fire and its gloom it brings to so many things and people.
I don't usually even notice that an image has a border. This shot is greatly improved IMHO by the matching color border, which works nicely with the diagonal composition and colors in the image.
