 Crop, minor fiddles with saturation and constrast, tiny bit of USM - in the Gimp.

Nothing special, except it was the first of the Madonna lilies to open; and it is another flower picture (I keep promising to stop), but the only point of colour to present itself, if it is a point of colour.

Very much appreciate the comments: yes, I think the border is very likely a mistake (hajeka); and I am thinking about the light being flat, possibly the result of trying to whiten the white and darken the green, so that there is no real modeling of any feature (iamwoman).

Yikes, CC, I never noticed that the open bloom was blocked!

The border is not too bad, it's probably just the color. You did a great job of capturing the whites - i can still see the details and textures of the petals. The only thing I'd want to see different is to have the unopened petals moved away from the flower that is already blooming. My preference is to see the entire flower since it seems to be the highlight of the pic.

Wonderful rich greens and nice exposure on the whites. A good canvas to showcase the points of orange, too.
