Thanks so much for all the nice comments, I am extra happy with this ribbon because I really liked this image. Saw the hat the day of the challenge and had to figure out how to use it and loved the outcome. The lighting was by choice I love the look and went with it and am so glad it was well recieved.
Thanks again, Sue

Hi Sue!! Wow, fantastic job!! I love it! Soon I will be getting a new camera as well....I will be calling you! P.S. The sunflowers are really getting big.......
ps .. i love the way you've hidden her eyes, the line of the hat and the excellent detail in it .. her amazing red lips .. the very bright lighting .. and of course your excellent processing .. !!.:)
Go Sue! You have the touch!
Also, thank you for your thoughtful comment during the challenge.
The mystery about wanting to see beneath the shadow of that hat makes this shot a grabber.
This was my favorite of the challenge (sorry Irene)! The range is wonderful and I love the hint of her right eye glinting under their, that is when you finally tear your eyes away from those lips and see it.
I like the lips on this one but the overly blurred skin and over-blown area on the left are a bit too distracting. Still it is a high impact shot - well done.
I really like the colors here. The texture of the hat is outstanding. You have to be careful about the light being blown out. I can see the light blowing out on her right cheek to her neck, maybe dialing it down 1 stop would do the trick. I hope this helps. Overall, good photo!
The shade from the hat over the eyes is ace and the pattern on the hat complements the overall composition. Not sure her left shoulder adds much, but adding to my favourites and giving it 9 all the same.
