Used the Hoya IR R72 filter. I'm fascinated with IR photos. I would have preferred to do this in advanced editing but oh well.
Shot in RAW. Increased the contrast in Silkypix.
Convert to jpg. Used Noiseware.
Then lots of playing around with the following:
Channel Mixer
Levels
Brightness/Contrast
HSL
Color Balance... all until I got a combination i was happy with.
Resize/Sharpen/more Noiseware/submit!
Taken at Schedel Arboretum and Gardens in Elmore, Ohio.

Congratulations Mich! You are really advancing! I can't believe the leaps and bounds that you've made over the time. Absolutely STUNNING image! Love it!
Duhhhhh......what's an IR?
Looks like a place that I'd like to be. The mirror like effect on the water is just fabulous. Congrats on your top 10 finish. Shoulda scored much higher!
Holy cow....How did I miss this shot before? Amazing IR image but way way more than just a 'clever effect' Full of rich tones and at once both pictureque and haunting
WHOA! I love the effect of IR, and the darkness that you've kept this at is stunning. Love the glass effect on the water, but it's so dreamy. I think this is one of my fav's of yours. Beautiful
