I would say the opposite, I love the background, it gives you just one more thing to look at. But then, I'm quite partial to overly busy shots that show what a place is like. Nice framing with all the elements, good work.

dude in the background is distracting, but its not like you can yell "hey! you! MOVE!!!" from across the street. nice natural border on the right
