my day 3 paper wasp had a pretty cool reception, i hope ppl like this one better .. !! .. :):):)
it was the last of two left on the nest because when winter comes they die off or go hibernate till the next spring .. there would have been up to 20 paper wasps on this nest during summer ..
i had taken quite a few photographs during the warmer months but only ever got them on the nest .. i knew the last two wouldnt be around much longer so i risked getting a very painful sting and placed a wattle flower on the nest so i could photograph them with more attractive surroundings ..
the nest has fallen off the barbed wire fence now and the wasps are gone .. this photograph was taken a couple of weeks ago ..
i've used other photographs taken on the firetrail as overlays and andrearusky texture converted to green ..
this is the workflow ..
i resized to 2000pxls width and did a noise ninja & sharpened after copying this workflow ..
I had the impression the overlay implied a subdueing of colors. Obviously I was wrong - My eyes are open! You are intent on changing my life, arent you.
