Wow... thanks for the great response and very nice comments. Portraits don't generally do well in free study so finishing so high meant alot to me... the comments and favs after the fact are icing on a very cool cake.

I am shocked to find that this image didn't ribbon. I can't imagine what more could be expected in a portrait. This is absolutely amazing on all aspects. Great shot!
Outstanding model, Rudy, and your photography does not stand in the way of me enjoying this sensual photo either. I reckon a little of what Brad said below about the red, perhaps.
Ya know, I really like this picture a lot.
I know the voters spoke, but to me, taking away from the dynamite natural color mix of red & green didn't do justice of what I feel could have been.
As an example, this is how I would have submitted it, but again is just a personal preference:
Excellent portrait, well done! Always remember my mother telling me that freckles were a sign of beauty and this proves it (not im my case though LOL!!)

what a gorgous portrait, i love the subdued photos, and her freckles are so fun, i love it. i love how you also kept alot of detail in her face and hat, but not as much in other areas. very good job, and good luck
