I think it might have been improved if the lighting had been less harsh, but the way it is now, I like the way it has a quaint old-time illustration type feel to it.

I don't feel like you caught the essence of this scene. I feel like I've seen this a hundred times. If you could give an interesting twist on this classic scene, it would be great! but that's just my opinion.
