I've often heard the frogs while hiking at Thacher Park, but today I found a little path that went off to one of the pond areas. The frogs were making their presence known, but I never got to see any of them. Dragonflies were having fun flitting about, and a few stopped to pose. A little further up the trail, I found another path that led to an overlook of the pond and the beaver dam. But sadly, still no critters to be seen.
This shot was from the lower path. As I was looking for frogs with the 70-300, I noticed the reflections of the grasses and trees. None of the shots came out how I'd planned, so I played with CS3 and did some editing.
