Nice shot, perhaps a bit tighter of a crop and a bit brighter with a touch more contrast would make a big difference. Even something as simple as Image, Auto Contrast (or Auto Color), then edit, fade back about 50%. A lot more could be done here regarding adjusting the skin tones & levels.
Very strong family resemblance. I like the way you emphasized that with the matching colored clothing. I like the focus and DOF and their pleasant natural expressions. The lighting seems unbalanced on the two subjects -- too harsh on him (blown highlight on forehead) and too shaded on her.
