 Ok, this is not quite a macro but this is a 100% crop from the full size image, ie. I took a 720px crop from the image and there was no resize at all, I am just blown away by the sharpness of this 50mm lens

No resize, no usm and no editing other than cropped, auto contrast, add border, sfw
