Expect DNMC on this, but it was something I wanted to try out and did so. We'll see how it goes.
Dark room, long exposure, timer. Fired timer, got into position #1 on the left. When shutter opened, fired flash. Removed glasses, rotated camera 90 degrees on tripod (landscape to portrait) and got into second position. Fired flash. Took several shots to keep from overlapping. But I liked the result.

I like the colors and the tone of the image, the background is distracting to me, perhaps a shallower depth of field or further from the background would have helped.
