Garbage can in some very pretty surroundings. It seems to be working, as there is not garbage in the pathway. Good angle and framing/cropping. The people aren't in focus, but I don't think they are suposed to be. Your garbage can is in very good vocus. Lighting conditions are good. No annoying glares, or shadows. Nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~hbunch7187~
Everything about this shot screams out class – with one exception; the people in the shot kill it almost stone dead… The composition with the bin, the winding path, the colour – in fact, in every other aspect it's a potential high scoring shot. However, the people are the first thing I see when I look at the shot and I don't even think you wanted them there… The draw away is being caused by the angles within the picture focussing – like cross hairs - the attention towards the splash of colour (red in this case) that isn't the intended subject… Without the people, 9 (10 even), with the people, sorry, (4)… I think the subliminal effect here could cause this shot to wind up with a fairly low score… Keep shooting…
The people in the back don't really do it for me. You tend to look at them and not the can, which should be the focus... even though they are out of focus.
