 Taken in the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico. The exposed logs in the Rio Grande are covered with turtles. This is a close-up of one of them taken with the zoom set on 300 mm.

I LOVE this photo. I think turtles are so photogenic! They always have this look of total contentment. Like life is so good. That's why I love photos of them so much :)
