 the original was some wattle photographed on the firetrail ..

i created a brush from curled up gum leaves photographed on the firetrail, & used it all over the image ..
this is the brush ..

i then added the fairy and the bubbles which were brushes i got off the internet ..
plus color efex/glamour glow ..
and adjustment layers in levels and color balance ..

WoW. What a difference, from a really quite nice nature shot to a fantasy. I really like the bokeh in the original shot which I believe gave you the canvas on which to paint the rest of your work.

I like the idea of the fairy, but I think it would be better if you actually got an image of a fairy to put there. I have taken photos of small fairy statues in garden shops. I think she would be more interesting with a bit more form/detail. I really like that she is floating on a bubble.
