Wow. What can I say except, THIS TOOK A LOOOONG TIME!
I treated everything on seperate layers before merging and doing my final tweaking. The moth lost some detail in its antenna, but I can live with that. This guy was SLAMMING my windows last night, so I ran out and took a couple shots :) The moon shot is old :) hehe
As soon as I saw him, I thought about that commercial where the moth is out helping people sleep, decided to try it :)
What a cool composite! L really like what you did with the moth... he pops right out of the screen. If this were something I was going to print or keep, I think I would lose the border all together. I think the greens in the moth are more powerful without it, and it would accentuate the negative black space in the composition. Very nicely done!
