Again I like a tighter crop, to help to makes the beetle pop a little more..... I love the fine detail, DOF, and textures in this one very much.....

I prefer the other shot to this one. Looks like he's munching down on that plant. Nice overall shot of this beetle.
I would have preferred a darker bg. Just to nitpick. ;\
