Ken, Art Roflmao, mentioned he would like to see this to scale. Well, since I let the original go, I had to search all over for another one of these odd bugs. I actually found one! Here it is to scale for you Ken. As you can see it's head is not as big as a horses. The entire bug isn't even worth a dime.
wow .. excellent shot .. i think he's a lot smaller than the ones we have on the firetrail .. this guy must be from the smaller side of the family .. the one's i see around here are probably twice that size . :)

Hmmm, looks like some sort of weevil, but not quite sure what... or it's an alien! Nice job using the dime for scale, really drives home what a tiny little bugger he is.
WOW, the detail in this is fantastic ... I think I am going to have to buy one of these lenses!! I prefer this one on the coin to give scale, but both are awesome shots
