and here is Irene again, with another example of a perfect close up execution. I love the attention you dedicate to the details of your subjects, and the carefull lighting work, not to speak about your extraordinay talent at playing with liquids.
I KNEW that would happen! (Just read through your comments) Still one of the most striking images I've seen on this site. It's absolutely stunning in every way! I'm sorry that more people didn't "get it." 3 1's is a travesty.
While I must say this is a stunning photo, I do not see the "Partners" in the photo. Teamwork is not the same as partners. Are we to start voting on the quality of the photo, instead of the relation to the challenge and quality combined? I guess I will have to change my whole voting strcuture if this is the case. I'm sorry, but I just don't see how this scored so well other than the fact that it is a very nice picture. Congrats anyway.
In that case, you obviously did not read the challenge description:
Partnerships and teamwork are everywhere about us in nature and in human affairs; capture an image that shows a mutually beneficial relationship.
Anyway, thanks for commenting and I'm glad you like the image.

Gave you a 10 Irene...surprised you didn't ribbon with this...guess this might have been a stretch for the challenge...I KNEW THIS WAS YOU!!! It had to be you
This is a STUNNING image. Truly impressive on every level! I can think of several challenges that this may have ribboned on, but not "Partners." Its to much of a stretch, I think. Adding to MY faves though!
