The wife and I just got the Canon 10-22, so I was playing with it over by the empty lot behind our neighborhood. This shot is just for the fun of the update button. I was planning on doing a spinning earth/stars/polaris shot at a better location (not the middle of the city), but I just didn't get it done.

I'd have liked longer star trails but then you risk blowing out the city lights and its the combination of the two that makes this work. Great attempt but it leaves me wanting more! :)
Thats fantastic, although I would have loved to see a little more contrast or brightness of the star trails (so that are seen better). But other than that nice shot!
