I gave this a 7. I'm guessing your friends left those whacky comments but I really thought this was kind of creative. I liked the perspective and how you framed your partner too. Interesting use of selective desat.

She looks like she is afraid or very cold. He looks like he is trying to be a tough guy. The framing would be OK if his face wasn't so blurry. As it is, it looks like a poor attempt at "Avant-garde".

picture seems rather flat to me, I do like the foreground bohkeh though, nice desat of the background.
