This robin is quick to get worms where we have been weeding or digging or anything that might stimulate worm availability. Been thinking what a homely bird all day, and then at the end of it, whilst doing an evening camera prowl, I found him in this wonderfully lit tree. The BW was a mistake, as my renovated computer needs to relearn my "save" habits, but I decided I preferred it to the kodak colours.
Crop, small tweaks, USM, scale and then the inadvertent greyscale.
REally like the composition here. Great detail on the feathers. I see a slight glow around the beak. Was that one of your tweaks to add definition to it?
