I think this should have scored higher. I gave it a 7. It's not as "slick" as some, but does such a great job of capturing a moment and conveying that to the viewer. Nice, crisp, b/w with spot on focus, and excellent background blur. Just a little blown out on the hand, but doesn't detract from the emotion. I'm sure they love it.

This has the most marvelous emotion in it! Wonderful. I'm going to think it was a caught moment rather than a staged shot, simply because it's that "real" - whether it was or wasn't, you've conveyed it as such. Great shot - works on all counts.
