This wheel measuring 4.6 metres in diameter was the flywheel of a 90 ton / 316 kilowatt Linde Lightfoot double-acting piston type refrigeration compressor. It was installed in 1919 at a cost of 6000 pounds. It was driven by d.c. power from the Brisbane tramway system until 1926 when it was converted to a.c. power. With the installation of modern 500 ton / 1760 kilowatt centrifugal compressors in 1972 this machine was decommissioned after 53 years of service.

and it's a nice and clear shot also... but the subject does not provide too many resources for an artistic piece...
