OK, I'll blame jenesis - does that mean she gets the credit for this fine shot? By the way, 13th is one of the best positions to get in a challenge, in my humble opinion. Lovely shot - nice to see it recognized.
One of my top picks in the challenge. The diffused light really makes me focus my attention to the only color in the image, her expression. Real unique setting too. Good luck to you.
great composition. the leading lines create a real dynamism. THe almost black and white tones - except her hair - is very good too. My preferred one in the challenge.

The wall to the left of the model adds excellent (and needed) texture to the image. I like how that section is framed by the grey/white slanted lines. Exposure on the model is outstanding and her painful/sorrowful expression really fits the image. Her outstretched arm intruding through the blackness creates a nice bridge from the abyss to the tactile. Well done.
great emotion. nice lines. I will say that although I like the placement of the left hand, the white line up top draws the eye out of the picture. Great texture and contrast. the model deserves praise as well. acted out beautifully- a true blue contender
I am perplexed about this. Is supposed to be a photo of desperation; from the title, I expect it is. It is a shame... lovely lady so close to the real and metaphorical edge. Very powerful shot.

Minor quibbles: Something compositionally off just a smidge possibly in rotation - I can't put my brain on it ... Also the pose seems a tad forced and the legs sort of cannot be found ... but overall very striking and engaging. 8, eight!
I like this, and it seems to me to "live up" to the rather dramatic title--took a risk there, but it works, I think. Probably get some push back on whether this is really a portrait or not, but either way, it gets an 8 from me
