 We couldn't sleep, it was midnight; so we had a cup of tea milk. Only the kitchen light.

seems out of focus and colors look washed outeither by over exposure or lense flare

Excellent! Your model's face is so intriguing it almost pulls all the attention. Almost. Nice lighting. The DOF might have been a little shallower to further defocus the plant.
