 Shot with a long lens at one of my favorite wildlife spots. It's adjacent to a busy light airplane field near Palo Alto, California.

The optical illusion is a bit crazy at first but no crashes ensued so there must have been a way down.

Crop, clean up the sky a bit (there was haze) and brighten up the aircraft just a touch. Not much. Slight sharpen of the plane, Noise Ninja.

Interesting capture of the landing - looks like it's headed for disaster, but I trust that the runway is really there! A suggestion: when shooting propeller planes, fast shutter speeds freeze the prop (such as happened here), which leaves it looking odd. A slower shutter speed and a bit of panning adds a sense of motion to the background and keeps the prop arc, which can be pretty cool.

Pretty nice, but it looks like it's going to crash into the trees. Perspective and POV problem.
