Awkwardly composed and the flash (or is it just very flat lighting?) ruins the image for me.

Cute baby. The angle of the shot makes it feel like he is about to drop out of the bottom of the picture head first. If you have the chance to photograph him again, try getting down to his level (even if you have to lie on the floor) and shoot from there instead of from above, I think you will be happy with the results. :)
