Your work is apparent. this however is not dappling. It is also a bit blown out by the sun.Your surfer is also a bit OOF.

Not a dappled light, not focused and not level... In spite of some action and sense of decisive moment, I can't rate it very high, sorry :)

This is not dappled light in my opinion - dappled light is light shining through several small apertures, functioning as pinhole cameras, creating circular images on the ground. Sorry, did not vote on this one.
