 This was a lighting situation I rarely use, but I really really liked the results I got from it today. The sun was behind me shining directly on her face and I used a translucent reflector to diffuse the light and a silver reflector under her chin to bounce the light up and fill in some shadows.

All of the edits are very subtle... as they should be. You did great! I especially love her eyes.
