I'm amazed that this didn't do better. I had you pegged for the blue. It's just an amazing photo and really, really well done. I disagree about the tighter crop suggestion. I'd love to see this picture hanging on my wall over a wide piece of furniture like a couch or a bed. It's just awesome.Message edited by author 2008-05-28 13:09:31.

lenticular cloud . They are a sign of high winds and bad weather on the mountain. I climbed Rainier a couple years ago and it is a fantastic place. You could spend your whole life photographing the park.

The cloud above the mountain almost makes it look like a halo. Very interesting image. What a great view :o)

What an interesting looking cloud. Is that common over mountains? Perhaps a little more contrast would be good, though that may have killed some detail.

You were lucky to catch such cloud. I would crop it a bit to bring the mountain closer, but nevertheless I like this composition very much.
