These flowers were carved from soap and yes, they were under glass. It took me ages to decide on the angle, focus and to try to get rid of all the reflection on the glass. Thanks for all your comments. Really helpful!

There are a lot of reflections off the glass in this photo and the light on the bottom right hand corner is distracting. I love the idea of the flowers. :)

I love pastel colors in your photograph. I think my problem is that I have seen too many flower photograohs this spring. Are these flowers under glass? The reflections on the lower right and upper left are minutely distracting from the subject.....

looks like it would have been framed better if you'd turned the camera 90 degrees and taken it vertically. Attractive depth of field effect.
