 I had originally wanted to do Boys Don't Cry, but I just really fell in love with this shot. Yes, I do have on mascara... I was trying to make it look like I was crying... Probably should have cropped off more of my head... oh well...

I do have high hopes for this.. hopefully 6.5 or better.

I have to admit that I am a little disappointed on how this scored. I thought, technically, it was one of my better entries. I guess the subject turned the voters off. Oh well...

Nice lighting-- catch light in eye, soft lighting on teeth, brightness in eye area. Great expression and lines on the face. Very nicely done.

I have a visceral dislike of this shot, but I can't deny the photo is strong and technically accomplished. The DOF is just right. At least an "8" from me.
