this is an interesting shot... I'm a little curious about your choice to solarize on this shot... I don't really understand how it improves the photo... :) - setzler
It's a lovely shot of the can. I like the angle and perspective, but I really don't like the background. I mean, the way it looks blotchy, and not "real" looking kind of bothers me. I like how you have the can kind of held up on a high pedistal, like it's really important. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~
Mt. Tincan right after it blew it's lid...like the imposing image (analogy to mountains of trash)...and I like the sky effect- it adds to the surreal illusion. great shot! (9) ~mcmurma
nice effect...i'm not quite sure which camera effect this is or which camera has the effect...but it's nice...i'd maybe frame the can a lil differently, but besides that, gj
Strange effects in the sky? Are they legal within the bounds of the challenge? I like the can anyway and it is a very nice image, legal or not. Good luck.
Looks like the original may have been a great shot, but as posted here it looks way overcompressed. Perhaps you should check your JPEG save settings? I like the composition and idea.
