 Taken for the Portrait challenge, but never submitted. Darkened highlights on the hand and on the sofa under the chin. Slight crop, no global adjustments other than in-camera white balance set for incandescent.

This is indeed 'cozy' but it looks a bit like a sickroom, and hence is a bit downbeat.
I like the room with all its classical contents.

Like how your subject's head is tilted to catch the light (but got her hand over exposed as well as the lamp) the composition is a bit too busy and doesn't tell the story as well.

Nice snapshot. The light is interesting...I like the tones on the wall but the lamp is just really bright.
