A long-dead yellowjacket posed with dead flora and live pollen in the frosted glass light covering in which he died. I finally got the look I wanted by creating a b/w layer (blue channel) and then masking out the bug and "flowers" so they stood out. I also did Shadow/Highlights.

Kind of looks like a dead bee, maybe that's their R.E.M. state though :-D For me, all the little "dirty" spots on the background detract from your overall photo.
