This Beauty is 10.5 months pregnant (gestation is normally 11 months for horses). that's about 45 weeks.
Not sure if it's my best for march or not. I currently seem to suck as a photographer, but I wanted to submit this because i took it. how's that for logic?

there is something about this that i just love. composition--lighting--toning--the fact that you can barely see her belly (i assume that week 45 is close to the end of her gestation period)--it's all really cool! nice work.
I like the composition - it's unusual and enhances the play of light and shadow. The toning is good too. The texture of the horse's head is great, with the texture on the body a little more shiny due to the dof. I cant decide if I would prefer the whole thing in focus more or not, either way, it's a good image!
