The iris image was captured at our local nature center near a natural habitat pond on a sunny day with auto settings except for manual focus. Camera was hand held at close range.
The edit was quite simple, auto levels brought out the brilliant colors so well I left it as is and just added some dodge and burn and sharpening. The photo did not require Neat Image.
This was one of my better captures that did not require a lot of tweeking, I wish all my photos came out this well.
