Froze a load of garbage in a block of ice because I thought it would look good, and it would be something a bit different. Then I put the flower on there as a kind of focal point, and it adds something to the photo. The annoying this was, there is a wait of 4-5 hours after each set of shots, while I wait for it to re-freeze.

What a great idea. Love the composition with the water, it takes away the rough edges I guess and I think that is one of the things that make it a great photo.
Frozen in ice? Pretty cool. Really interesting method, and definately creative and requiring effort. The flower is a nice touch too. Excelent colors and your focus and clarity are quite good. I love the idea behind this. I also like the angle and framing/cropping you have chosen. Wow. Amazing. You went out of your way to freeze these wrappers. However, I gave you a 10 not for the effort, but for the idea and the flawless execution.
These colors are awesome. Technically, this is a great shot. The lighting and focus are excellent. I especially love the area around the subject. Was it on glass or something? The water really makes the picture more interesting. Even capturing a little more of the blue (like in the upper right corner) would be cool. The flower is the final touch that makes this a 10 and adds that extra wow. Great job! ~indi
the thing i like best about this is the saturated colors. 2nd best thing i like is the background. it's hard to tell what im seeing here but it's graphically interesting without being too busy. good job. mag99
