This was a totally candid moment captured. It's my son, Jason, playing with his son, Jackson -- who I think most of you know well from my photos of him :)
I'm so proud of what awesome dads both my sons are. But then. . .they have an EXCELLENT role model in my hubby :)
I know it's only because its so personal. But this photo makes my heart all mushy every time I look at it. Think I may need to frame this one :)
Simply wonderful. The moment of intimacy between father and son, the love in the fathers face and the fact that even though you cannot see the childs face you know he is laughing. I love the light playing on the blond hair as well.
A treasured moment and one that captures the sheer unabashed joy of parenthood
so beautiful sandy .. and it is very mushy !!!
most definitely needs to go in a frame along with about a thousand other of your amazing photographs .. !! :)
Wow Sandy - you look much too young in your pic to have two grown sons. Nice picture, definitely a keeper. Lots of emotion. I like the desat/sepia feel to it.
You could never have scripted a better moment... Congratulations on having such a handsome and loving family, and to you for your quick thinking and steady hand. Absolutely frame this.
Ok - I'm blown away - not just at the image which is just beautiful and touching - but this is the first I've heard that you are a grandma! How old were you when you had Jason, like six years old??! :)
What a tender moment to capture. I love seeing dad's holding, hugging, and coddling their little ones even more than mom's for some reason. You've done wonderful with the color tones too.
For me, the moment that seals the deal is his right hand protectively (?sp) holding onto Jackson. It is a truly beautiful image, an unforgettable moment, made all the more wonderful by your talent and processing. If you don't frame it for yourself, of course you should for your daughter-in-law. (Jackson must've been getting a good laugh in, I see his tiny little hand over daddy's mouth-I love it when my girls do that-CUTE!)
This is so so moving, and so emotive, as most of your images often do.....
A beautiful capture from you Sandy, one with feeling and beauty, all rolled into one.....
This awesome candid makes my heart go mushy as well.....
A wonderful memory recorded forever.....
