Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Sun in Frame (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-40D
Lens: Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM
Location: Niederhasli, Switzerland
Date: May 6, 2008
Aperture: 4.0
ISO: 125
Shutter: 1/640
Galleries: Landscape, Nature
Date Uploaded: May 6, 2008

This picture was taken just as the sun was creeping up over the horizon. The distant clouds in the frame give the picture some added feeling. The flare of the sun is a nice counterbalance to the actual sun in the frame. The overall feeling i wanted to convey, a dreamy morning worked quite well.

The backlighting behind the plants is pretty. I might have cropped closer to eliminate the flarey-looking bits on the right.

You had a lot of reflections (flares) inside you lens. It burns out the image washing out the contrast.

I think this should be cropped a bit and maybe a different angle, overall it is a bit too dark.
