Nice capture of the two of them, the poses are nice and natural. Can't help but notice the legs chopped, especially because her hemline draws attention to that area of the image. Perhaps a much tighter crop at the bottom and allowing the faces and arms/hands to dominate more, not sure.
The shadow on the poor man giving up his life is forboding and ominous of things to come...or it just distracts from an otherwise lovely capture. Maybe a fill flash would help.
