This is our 20 year old cat Tiger, doing what she does best...taking a nap. Also, this is my first posting from my new D300. What an amazing camera! This was taken at ISO 1250, and I used no noise reduction.

'Grats on the new toy! Fun to be able to shoot at high ISO, yes? Excellent shot of your cat who looks great for a cat of 20, by the way!

Wonderful details. Nice patterns made by the different parts of the fur and the whiskers.

It has an almost abstract quality the way the tones of the fur paly off each other.

Wonderful details on her face and in her fur. I've just finished reading a review about the D300 in Professional Photographer mag ...... they raved about it.

Ohmygoodness. . . .that new camera in your hands is an amazing thing! Wow!

This is awesome. I love Tiger! 20 years old! Wow! She really doesn't look that old does she. My mom had a cat that lived to be just a hair under 23. She's beautiful. She looks almost exactly like a cat I used to have.

Can't wait to see more from your D300 :)
