I like the composition and the little bit of negative space on the left. I'm viewing on an uncalibrated monitor but it looks like the shadow area is a bit dark.

My personal take on this is that the lighting on the right side of the face is nice, but the left side is too dark shadowed.

Your always a great subject. I think the lighting is a bit too harsh. Not thrilled with the left eye.
