Challenge: Macro Without Bugs or Flowers II (Advanced Editing VII)
Collection: 5.5 - 5.9
Camera: Canon EOS-30D
Lens: Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
Location: Charleston, SC
Date: Apr 19, 2008
Galleries: Animals, Macro
Date Uploaded: Apr 20, 2008

Taken in direct sun, which I hate, but pretty hard to capture these guys otherwise. I cloned out a small shadow under his leg, sharpened, and popped the colors a bit. Otherwise, pretty much as he is.

Great detail and color Catherine. I know what you mean about the sun. I hate photography in the sun.
