 Collected half of the family's shoes and went to the park.

As a mathematician this challenge suited me well.
If one can form pairs from a set of object, then the number of objects is even by definition. Like the shoes here. Also 2, 4, 22, 44 are even numbers.

That is a very nice collection you have there. I think to score higher you needed to take this clever idea and apply it to a different background or scene. The lawn or ground cover competes from my attention.
